day twenty-three & twenty-four

and this is how hostel life is all about :)

earlier in the afternoon, some of us went to the school's clinic for the doctor.

actually the majority of us are sick but only few went to see the doctor.

let me show you the doctor

doctor with a ah pek shirt, checker boxer and sandals?

anyway i came here for the corn. 4 corns!! and the doctor gave me the acidic corn plaster and he said that's the only way to cure. but in sg the doctors usually freeze it and remove them by cutting! i guess it would be much effective though it's pain. but however, u wouldnt know how cheap is the total fee for the consultation and medicines. 2 boxes of corn plasters and a FREE LOTION (from the nurse, only i have ok!!) cost 2 rmb. AHHAHAHA and consultation fee for the doctor is 0.5 rmb. its like singapore dollar 10cent!!

and i felt so healthy as i went to run for 9 rounds today at the field track!

有满足感 as i need to balance out with the unhealthy food that i eat!

WEDNESDAY!

we had an hour plus of journey to the new wuhan university of science and technology campus at wuchang.

the environment and facilities are much better than the old campus that we are staying at.

why aren't we staying here!

they were welcoming us and dressed formally and yet we were dressed in shorts

(SINGAPOREAN STYLE)

each and everyone of us were paired up with a WUST student just like a buddy system

she's called YuMian(余勉). we chatted alot along the way to their court for telematch.

at first we were speaking in english bcos her teacher told them to speak in english in order for them to practise! however she gave up bcos she find it a bit tough to understand singaporean's english bcos our talking style is quite different. (i don't think is bcos of my broken english :s HAHA)

along the way, we saw the students having 军训! remember i've mentioned about li xuan going for 军训? this is what she's doing! they were shouting cheers and songs, and also marching.

fyi: all the year 1 students of all the universities in hubei province have to undergo 军训 for 2 weeks! so tough!

and guess what?

we saw LI XUAN AAHAHAHAHAHA!

look how shy she was!

bcos all of us stopped and looked at her! i can see she's so embarrassed! i hope she's not scolded by her officer :s

bcos.. some of us still go and take picture with her!!!!!

after that we had a short telematch the their court. we played 3 legged man and back to back basketball. my partner and i still have a little coordination although we just get to know each other for less and an hour! :)

fyi2: as we were playing, we were shouting to another team that they "玩臭"(cheat). then the china students asked us what's that. bcos they don't understand it! haha i think this is Singaporean mandarin.

after telematch, they broght us to tour around the school.

NGEE ANN?

we had dinner together at the canteen! at first she insisted to treat me. she's such a nice girl! but of cos i don't allow and so after some '你挣我挣', we came into a cnclusion that i treat her for dinner and she treat me with a drink! :)
**she told me that her friends said that she looked like a cat bcos her eyes and her mouth!
