day sixteen

Tempted?

the whole set cost around 18 rmb.
and the burger is better than KFC zinger!



this fast food place (i woudn't say restaurant cos it's a bit ulu) is located at the back alley of my hostel! very very near!

however, i only tried once, under the influence of all my friends!

they ate about 5 times already. the reason is because the set meal comes with the olympic dolls called beibei jingjing huanhuan yingying nini (北京欢迎你) . very cute!

anyway, it's a small place located at the second level of this ulu building at the corner of the alley

i saw this place during the first week here, and went up to take a look and they have no customers! so i don't dare to try it because they might be selling dog meat or human meat, who knows? HAHA (maybe i'm thinking too much)

anyway, my friends went to try it and said nice!
so everything's safe and i want to visit them again! to collect few more dolls!

today was also my first time wearing my yellow china slippers out! hahaha WITH A BIG BIG FLOWER IN THE MIDDLE. omg i'm 99% local now.





nice? it cost only 10 rmb. anyone wants me to get for you? HAHA! i saw many china people wearing! maybe i should try wearing it and walk along orchard road. who knows later i might create the trend!

after resting in the hostel after lunch, we met Li Xuan at 7pm and headed to their night market by bus! the night market is like a china pasa malam.


anyway we had dinner first. these are what we had:

and few plates of fried rice too.

next is the night market!!



their watches are cheap! previously i bought one near my hostel and it cost 25 rmb. over here only 10 rmb! hais i always got cheated one! haha!
anyway not much of clothes and nice things. they only sell watches, accessories and keychains. the whole stretch of night market were almost selling the same thing, so i didn't bought anything except a hairband.

bus journey back for around 10 mins.
end of day!
